The WBTLF is an international organization dedicated to preserving, transmitting and developing Bando, Lethwei and the martial traditions of Myanmar through cooperation between countries, technical education, international events and responsible sporting standards.

The role of WBTLF is to create links, preserve technical heritage, encourage responsible development and provide shared international references. Each member organization remains responsible for complying with the laws, sporting rules and safety requirements applicable in its own country.

From WTBF to WBTLF
The organization was legally declared in France in 2006 as the World Thaing Bando Federation — WTBF, with an international purpose covering Bando, Bama Lethwei, Naban, Banshay, internal practices, education and international cooperation.
The World Bando Thaing Lethwei Federation continues this international project with a modernized structure designed for cooperation between countries.

De la WTBF à la WBTLF
L’organisation a été déclarée juridiquement en France en 2006 sous le nom World Thaing Bando Federation — WTBF, avec un objet international concernant notamment le Bando, le Bama Lethwei, le Naban, le Banshay, les pratiques internes, la formation et la coopération internationale.
La World Bando Thaing Lethwei Federation poursuit aujourd’hui ce projet international dans une organisation modernisée destinée à renforcer la coopération entre les pays.
